A mole is a dark spot that often appear on the skin on any part of the body. In most cases, they come and go. Some individuals associate moles with beauty. However, it is important to note that the spots can make you ugly and in some instances they can also be dangerous. These are the best ways on how to remove a mole at home.

The best way to deal with these moles is to eliminate them when they are still small and are not developed; otherwise they might leave a scar. Being that removing them sometimes requires the services of a medical practitioner, it is, therefore, important to ask the doctors before you make any move. They will advise you before you proceed with the home remedies.



But if the doctor finds that it is not a severe case, you can opt for home made remedies remove the dark spot on your body. It is also important to note that moles can grow on any part of the body, and they are not restricted to any particular place contrary to many speculations. It is because there are about ten to forty moles in a person's body. They take different shapes of oval, round and some of them are always on the skin at the time of birth.

However, most of them develop when we are growing. When we have hormonal changes such as pregnancy and puberty, they are most likely to occur. It is not only the hormonal changes that bring these dark spots around but exposure of the skin to the sun too. Others appear because they are hereditary, and we get them from our parents. The development of moles is always as a result of pigment cell multiplication.

The natural ways you can get rid of these dark spots on a skin is by the use of castor oil. You need to apply on the affected areas at least three to four times in a day. The procedure is simple; you first soak cotton in the oil and then you place it at the dark spot then you wrap with a bandage. If the affected area has a bigger spot, you can mix baking soda with castor oil. You then apply the paste on the mole, and you cover with the bandage. You should repeat that regularly until you get the results.



The other remover is honey. It also has a simple procedure where you apply honey on a mole. Repeat the same two times a day until you are satisfied with the results. Apple Cider Vinegar over the years has proven to remove them naturally. You put the vinegar on cotton and apply on the area and leave it there for fifteen minutes or more. The acid the apple cider vinegar has will remove the spot.

There are other natural removers such as potatoes, grapefruits, and pineapple. The grapes and pineapples have enzymes that help remove the spots from the body. Whereas for the potatoes you just cut it in half and rub the freshly cut place on the spot. They will quickly remove the moles.

Finally, all these methods take patience and consistency to achieve good results. However, when the mold refuses to disappear always seek medical attention.

In case your self-esteem has been lowered and you are no longer confident meeting new people and find it hard to be part of gatherings because of a mole, there are several solutions that may help you get rid of it. These are mostly the harmless black or dark brown selling parts of the skin, and can be particularly annoying when it emerges on the visible parts of the body like the face. Although most are harmless, there are a few that may be cancerous in nature. All in all, you need to understand the tips on how to remove a mole naturally to make you feel at ease.

The origin of the mole also matters. Normally, they occur as unnatural swelling on the skin. This happens when the skin grows at a given point as fails to spread out as it should do naturally. It is most common among the teenagers and the pregnant women. If it appears at birth, there is no cause for alarm.




The cases where it appears right at birth may not present any cause for alarm. The ones that appear after birth may present very little risk of being cancerous. However, if it comes about in the thirties or at the latter age afterwards, there is a lot to worry about and it is best to see a doctor early enough. In the same way, if it starts behaving abnormally; it starts to be itching, oozing or bleed, then you should seek medical attention.

In this method, you first heat water and then add white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. Soak a cotton ball in this mixture, apply it on the mole, and leave it for approximately half an hour. After that, wash off with cold water. The other technique is to consistently apply the grapefruit seed extracts on the affected part, leaving it to dry for two hours before washing off.

This is where apple cider vinegar or white vinegar is mixed with hot water and then applied on the affected part and left to dry for half an hour before washing. Alternatively, the extracts from grapefruit seeds can be used. The paste is allowed to dry on the affected skin and allowed to dry for 2 hours before washing.

However, if you have no grapefruits close by or vinegar, you still have several other alternatives. You can make a paste of castor oil and baking soda or alternatively make a paste of garlic, spear on a clean cloth and wrap on the affected part and leave to dry overnight. The dandelion stem rubbed against the skin may also yield results.

The other solutions that have been used, including drying strawberry pieces on the skin, application of tea tree at least twice per day, use of a mixture of sea salt and pineapple to scrub it off, or even the use of the inner part of the banana peel to wrap the skin several hours daily. Two drops of iodine applied twice a day or application of natural honey on a daily basis are also effective just as the use of chopped onion paste mixed with salt.


Most of these remedies have antibacterial properties and are not associated with any unpleasant side effects. However, for the results to be seen, it takes patience and consistency. The remedies are also cheaper. However, if the mole does not exhibit natural behavior, it pays to see a doctor before it is too late.
