Students at local high schools and universities are always excited when they get the chance to discover every new job which comes on the market. Their teachers know that career coaching has always been an essential part of the education system. Sometimes this information will help them with their future endeavors and this is always a good thing.
It is always fascinating whenever a human being likes to shadow certain doctors, lawyers, police officers or others who are working within the community. One great instructor thought that it would be a good idea to let her senior class students learn about the employment world in a unique way.
She gave the entire class a chance to choose a specific job that would be beneficial to them in the future. The school made sure that certain businesses would be involved in this project when it was first produced. She really was delighted to learn that some of her students were looking forward to volunteering their time at the hospital. This trio was assigned to three different departments when they arrived at the medical facility.
Once the adventure started these students would learn new and exciting things that would really help them in the long run. All of the staff workers made sure to give the intelligent students a warm welcome when they first arrived on the scene. A small girl named Laura was placed with the oncology team and she made every effort to learn about all of the cancer treatments. Laura also read books to the older people who were patients within this department.
Unfortunately she had become too attached to one of the older female patients who had eventually died from this disease. This strong young woman decided to continue with this career field even though her heart was now broken. She would simply have to learn how to emotionally disconnect from any person who was living within a hospital or other care facility.
It was also great that a certain male pupil was able to work with children since he was very kind and polite. The children in pediatrics seemed to love him and he shared their positive enthusiasm. This young man had finally found his true calling and would indeed pursue a job which would put him in contact with younger individuals.
Cindy had the chance to learn all about a variety of heart diseases while she was placed with the cardiology unit. She knew that this was the place to obtain all the necessary knowledge which would help her family. Unfortunately many of her relatives were currently suffering from all types of chest pains and other health issues.
After everyone had finished this mentoring program the instructor told them all to write a report on their experience. She was pleased to find out that each student had something unique to say about this important project. Each and every one of them also wanted to job shadow other businesses which would help with their future goals.
